Family-built and continuously improved with love over the years, this zen property seamlessly integrated in nature has a personality that nobody can deny.

The asymmetric roof angled at almost 90 degrees gives the house a mountain cabin & cottage vibe, while maintaining a modern and contemporary look. The roof is made of metal, hand crafted in a classic style by a local metal roof expert, it is white to keep the house from overheating in the summer and allows for a beautiful and romantic sound of the rain. It also has 2 working beautifully made brick chimneys that are the like the cherry on the cake.

The almost complete lack of concrete pavement in the courtyard allows for perfect rainwater drainage and makes it blend perfectly with the surrounding trees and grass.

The house is welcoming and has a rustic feel courtesy of the wood flooring in the living room and the 3 wood burning stoves located on the ground floor (even the kitchen has one, to cook on).

It has large windows, triple-pane insulating glass, plenty of light and a beautiful view from the kitchen to the backyard, while you are enjoying your morning coffee or tea. The master bedroom on the ground floor has its own on-suite bathroom, and looks warm and cozy.

Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, of which one has a balcony and the other has terrace roof access (where there are a couple of chairs and a table especially designed to sit on the incline of the roof) and 2 smaller bedrooms that can be used for guests and – because they are small – perfect for kids! There are three bathrooms in total.

Outside, the abundance of green takes your breath away throughout the seasons. The two orchards of fruit-bearing trees, the small vineyard, the 30-year old willows, large variety of flowers -are guaranteed to heal your body and spirit. It is the perfect place to relax, especially if you are a nature lover. This green oasis attracts lots of birds and butterflies which will definitely put a smile on your face.

There are at least 5 places where you can have your morning coffee and breakfast “al fresco”, one of which is the back terrace, 100% made of wood, hand built, which gives a spectacular view of the backyard and shelter from the sun, complete with a water vapor cooling system.

Located in a village that is located 15 km from the city limit, offers quick access to the city (you can choose between two-three routes to avoid traffic) and to the airport (using the Bucharest Ring Road to avoid going into the city).

We are nature lovers, and we tried to bring the nature into this property, as well as good taste and warmth. We hope that you are nature lovers too. If so, you will fully appreciate what this space has to offer, and its energy. We used our imagination to bring life where 30 years ago was basically a poor and depleted agricultural land. With continuous effort, we made it into an oasis, a relaxation spot well outside of the noise and pollution of the city. Now the land has re-birthed, teaming with plant and animal life. It is healed and now breathes again.

In the whole area there isn’t anything like it! It’s the green oasis full of good vibes and a wonderful relaxation space.

In the Winter, the wood burning stoves can’t wait to be used, and the wood recycled from the dead branches of the trees gives off a wonderful feel, smell, sound and warmth.

In the Spring it comes to life. The first ones to turn green are the willows, whose small, barely noticeable flowers attract the hungry honey bees. The bees make the trees literally hum. Then come to life the spring flowers, with an aroma so powerful that will either make you faint, cry or at least make you crack a huge involuntary smile. The smells overpower your senses, you will feel every cell of your body restoring itself. It’s literally Smell Therapy. The lilac, the snowdrops, carnations, chrysanthemums, jasmine, elderberry flowers, cherry blossoms, they all have a concert only for you and your senses, whilst the fresh green high definition scenery massages your eyes. The smell of the rich earth moist with morning dew makes you want to take your shoes off and walk barefoot. And what a sensation it is! Later on, you will enjoy the first fruits of the spring: cherries! And strawberries! Sweet, organic, juicy, they are delectable!

The Summer brings its own vibe. It makes you want to stay out in the sun all day, and just …tan. On the lounge chairs or simply on a blanket on the grass, with a smoothie made from your own strawberries, cherries, wild blueberries, pears, sour cherries or apples. You can just hang out with a beer or juice nearby, a good book maybe, in the shade of the umbrellas or trees. You can even make a trip on foot or by car to the river and forest nearby (1 km). In the evening, gather your guests, friends or family near the outdoor fire pit, build a fire and enjoy its warmth under the clear sky full of stars and the sound of silence.

In the Autumn the colors are beautiful, and a carpet of leaves will rustle underneath your steps. You can build a big pile of leaves and just throw yourself in it. It’s an experience you don’t wanna miss! Also, the fall is a time of bounty: all trees are loaded with fruits, like walnuts, pears, apples, plums. And also grapes! All natural, bio, organic!
